Book Description

8vo, pp xii, 300; [2], folding facsimile leaf present to rear; xii, xvi, 257 [1]. The second edition of Cantos 1 and 2, bound with the first edition of Canto Four. BOUND IN CONTEMPORARY FULL STRAIGHT-GRAINED MOROCCO, all edges gilt, gilt spine and boards, a very good example of a classical revival binding. Occasional browning to text, otherwise an extremely attractive item. Bound without ad leaves. The second edition of Cantos 1 and 2 contains six new poems (Wise 1: 52). Canto Four is the first edition, second issue, with the six line errata (Wise 1: 60).
