Catalogue 1 38 +(2)pp illustrated with b/w plates. Decorated wrappers. With associated private view card for the exhibition which is mounted on stiff card to form an outer wrapper to the publication. The private view card was designed by George Belcher. Catalogue 2 Unpaginated. c 48pp including period ads in b/w. Includes a French section as well as exhibits from British members. The second private view card, as with the first is mounted on stiff card and wrapped around the publication to form a dust wrapper. It was designed by Charles Morrow. The second exhibition opened on 29th November 1913. Both PV cards are in colour and, both addressed to F[rederick] H Evans Esq in manuscript. The Society was found late in 1912 according to the introduction dated 30 November 1912 by H. Tinson. The following made up the founding membership: Cecil Aldin, W Douglas Almond, H M Bateman, George Belcher, René Bull, Dudley Hardy, John Hassall, George Morrow, Charles Pears, L Raven Hill, E T Reed, Frank Reynolds, W Heath Robinson, Harry Rountree, J A Shepherd, Lance Thackeray and Leslie Ward. By the time of the second exhibition there were some additional members notably, Courtney Pollock, Tony Sarg, E Studdy, Bert Thomas and Arthur Watts. The second show opened on 29th November 1913. A loosely inserted catalogue slip notes implies that the catalogue and two private view cards all were form the library of Frederick J Evans.
