Dealer Notes
A very charming note book with notes and drawings on different subjects, some technical, some architectural and at the end four ‘comics’ by a talented young man. This is most probable the work of Maurice Pottier (Paris 1883 - 1982), architect. He enters the ‘Ecole Centrale des Arts et Manufactures’ in Paris in 1904 and graduates in 1907. From 1908 to 1910 he works for the ‘Service des bâtiments de la Compagnie des chemins de fer du Nord’. He installs himself in Neuilly and works essentially for private persons. His creations include the ‘Palace les Cèdres’ in Nice-Cimiez the ‘hotel particulier Colloredo-Mansfeld in Rueil-Malmaison, both 1926. Not much is know about his personal life.
Author POTTIER, MAURICE.
