Book Description
Small 8vo. Manuscript housed in stiff card book with textured blue cloth; small mark to front; marbled text block. Pastedowns and end papers are decorated pink and gilt. Neat inscription to verso: 'William Nelson Edwards April 21st. 1880' followed by title, 'Bible Clocks' with first example and index/key to 33 no. themes to verso. All 'clocks', in fact 54 in number are hand-drawn to recto only of following pages. The hand is peculiarly and consistently need; the mnemonic function is clear with bible references throughout.
