An original pen and ink drawing by the celebrated Stepney born painter, typographer, book illustrator & master of auto-lithography, authenticated with the Barnett Freedman Estate stamp. Possibly from his student days at the RCA which he left in 1925 but returned to after the war as an inspiring teacher. As a Lithographer he produced a stream of inimitable dustwrappers for the Brontes, Tolstoy and Sassoon's" Memoirs of an Infantry Officer" as well as posters and prints for Baynard, Chromoworks and The Curwen Press.
