10th edition, enlarged and rewritten. Octavo, 284 pages plus adverts, index, 5 folding maps (3 slightly torn). Boards marked, spine torn at top and bottom, lacks title page but otherwise contents VG. One of three guides issued by this firm, the other two covered 'The Southern Tour' and the 'Western Tour'. Rather similar to Measom in the UK, it works its way along the various lines. This copy belonged to Prof. Jack Simmons, the railway historian, and has his signature.
