Originally published anonymously by Pope circa 1733 (first three epistles) -1734 (fourth epistle). Inscribed at top of title page with a date, “1787”, and “Whitwell” and, beneath the title, a handwritten motto, “Dum vivimus, oh vivamus!” ("While we live, oh, let us live!") 16 x 10 cms. 60 pp.
