(196mm x 134mm). Cloth rubbed and worn to extremities, a little dusty/grubby in places; plate to front a little rubbed and scratched, small loss to lower right corner; spine ends turned-in, boards knocked to corners; bumped to top and bottom edges. Gift inscription (dated) in ink to half-title page; sporadic foxing to pages throughout, heavy in places, and some grubby/dusty handling marks; edges of page-block a little grubby and marked. Overall, showing wear from handling and being read but otherwise remaining a reasonably nice copy.

A volume in Tuck’s ‘Golden Treasury Library’ series. Published in the 1920s, titles originally came with a dustwrapper and bound in red, green or blue cloth. Difficult to date accurately without a helpful contemporary ownership inscription.
