A large album of 12 gouaches on pith paper depicting various stages of tea production, all mounted on paper and bordered by a pale blue silk frame. Bound in contemporary, patterned silk. The album measures 37.8cm by 25cm, and each pith sheet measures 32.5cm by 21cm. A few pictures with light marks to the background; a couple with very small corner chips; one with a short crack to the pigment (not breaching the pith). A rare collection of pictures depicting tea cultivation, in unusually nice condition.
