A reasonably good copy of the First Edition of a 'typical' Donald Maxwell book , this time solely about Churches although with predictable tangents ! With 24 full page black and white illustrations and entertaining dialogue the book concerns Churches mostly in the South and West of England with Boston being the most Northerly point. Blue cloth with gilt titles to the front cover; the spine is rather faded with rubbing to top and bottom and to the corners of the boards..The contents however are clean and unmarked. One for the Maxwell 'Completist' !
