Dealer Notes
Neate M145; Perret 3104. Morin (1905-1986) climbed in the Alps, Scotland and North Wales, and promoted all-women climbing. She also climbed with her daughter Denise (later wife of Charles Evans). The letters accompanying this copy date from 1966 and an undated letter which thanks Ward for sending his book - presumably In This Short Span (1972). The letters speak about Charles and Denise Evans (Morin’s daughter; Charles was a member of the 1953 Everest and 1955 Kangchenjunga Expeditions), and her experiences climbing in Wales. Denise Evans’ note sends a photograph of Ward, no longer present.
