Neat gift inscription in ink to the half title page, a further hand written letter accompanies this. Black and white frontispiece of John Pinney. Glazed pictorial unclipped dust jacket with chipping and wear to the edges and corners, now in a removable protective clear sleeve. In addition included at the rear is a typed essay. with some annotations, on the author by Isaiah Berlin, Balliol College Record 1958.
