Book Description

A Short Walk in the Hindu Kush by Eric Newby (The Folio Society, 2011), introduced by Richard E. Grant and afterword by Hugh Carless. Hardback – publisher’s decorated cloth, presented in a custom-made slipcase with blue cloth ends and brown Clairefontaine Ingres papered sides. pp ix, [7], 232, with double-page map plus b/w plates. 9.5 x 6.5 inches approx. (242mm x 164mm). A hint of a knock to lower corner of boards. Nonetheless, a lovely, clean and tight copy – appears unread – attractive with its complementary slipcase.
