Top edge gilt, others untrimmed. Set in Perpetua type and printed and published in Dublin. Parallel text. In paper-covered slipcase as issued. Head of spine neatly repaired. Near fine.

‘The translation by Samuel Beckett was originally printed in Transition No. 50-6-1950 and is here printed separately for the first time.’ This copy belonged to John Calder (1927-2018), Samuel Beckett’s English publisher and co-publisher of this edition. Sold at Sotheby’s in December 1990.
