Book Description

[40] pages. 10 sheets of thick paper each folded to form 4 pages. In Japanese. Loosely inserted in the solander box. 100 copies printed of which 75 in English + 10 artist's proofs, 25 in Japanese + 5 artist's proofs. This though is labelled P/P, presumably a poet's or printer's proof. Signed in pencil by both artist and poet. 7 unpublished poems illustrated with prints. Brown cloth covered solander box with leather spine - presumably made by the Zaehnsdorf bindery which made the cloth versions for the English edition. Bookplate of Ann Ridler, a Kirkup collector, to the front inner cover of the box. Together with the 4 page prospectus and the invitation to the private view.
