Later good quality three-quarter calf by Bayntons, with their binder’s mark, aeg, slightly rubbed, but a very nice set, internally clean. (Please see photos).

A good example of Disraeli’s first novel in its first edition, a work which both saved him from debt and caused a scandal when the author became widely known.
