The copper-plate engravings were drawn and mostly etched by N.G. Philips between 1822-24. The letterpress is by 24 local contributors. Internally there is occasional, very light, scattered foxing to the text pages. The plates are in extremely good condition. Externally, the corners are rounded. The spine is darkened and there is some wear to the head. The bottom bevelled edge is rubbed / stained. Despite these defects this is a good, sound, attractive copy of a scarce work. Nb heavy book.
