Book Description

Green cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Gilt emblem to front board. Boards are marked and generally grubby. Somewhat cocked. Corners are bumped, edges are worn. Spine is age darkened with bumping to ends. The pages have been hand cut and hence are rather ragged. Both inner hinges are cracked. Text block is tanned, but clean. Foxing to the endpages and occasionally to the textblock mainly affecting the early/late pages. 385 pp. Previous owner's bookplate. Previous owner's mark to half-title page.
