Published by The Trustees of the British Museum, London, 1971, 1st edition. Half leather binding with brown cloth boards. Five raised bands to spine. Gilt lettering on black leather patch to compartments 2 and 4. Blind stamped decoration to other compartments. 10ins x 6.25ins, xlv, (i), 253pp plus colour frontis and 16pp plates. The plates are by William Pars and an appreciation of his work by Andrew Wilton precedes the text. The text is based on the 1825 edition. Near F copy in a handsome leather binding.
