Celebrating 50 years of book fairs 

Book Description

4to. First edition. Original illustrated paper boards. Printed by W. S. Cowell, Ltd. 55 illustrations by Edward Ardizzone, including 20 watercolours and 35 pen drawings. Boards rubbed along top and bottom edges with small loss to the spine ends. Ink ownership of a girl called Charlotte, dated 1955, and the bookplate of Andrew Murray on the flyleaf. Unclipped d/w, priced ‘8s. 6d. net’, is worn with chips and tears and some light foxing to the front panel. Near fine in good - d/w.
