Presentation inscription, presumably by the author, to blank fly-leaf: 'J.W. Miller Esq. With kindest regards & happy recollections of our trip. July 11.92. Jas. Douglas' An unpublished account of a two-week late-Victorian railway and climbing tour of the Swiss Alps made by three anonymous British travellers 'who for distinction's sake we will call 'Adipose', 'The Giant', and. 'Dyspeptic'', in July 1891, including ascents of the Rhone Glacier, the Eggishorn, the Gorner Grat and the Gemmi pass. Unrecorded in COPAC and OCLC.
