Hardback. vi,200pp. First edition of the three Arthurian plays together. Charles Williams was a member of the Inklings alongside C. S. Lewis and Tolkien. Also includes Taliessin's Song and Epilogue in Somerset. Black cloth to spine with printed paper label. Black and white illustration to front signed Lamb, assumed to be Lynton Lamb who worked as an artist or designer on other of Charles Williams’ projects. Line drawing of a woman’s head to the back. Printed label tipped in on the last page. Clean tight and neat. Label to spine is tanned and is missing a corner (text unaffected) and there is the spare label in fine condition to the last page. There has been a rectangular label to the back which has been removed leaving some uneven surface damage to the patch. The line drawing to the back is unaffected. Very faint stamp, to faint to read, to the free front endpaper.
