Scarce. Green cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine and front. Faded image to front board. Boards are marked and generally grubby. Corners are bumped. Board edges are grubby and rubbed. Spine is very discoloured, faded (including the lettering), and stained. The cloth to the top and bottom is splitting. Endpages are stained. Both inner hinges are cracked, but holding. B/w frontispiece with tissue protection intact. Annotation to reverse of fep. Textblock is rather grubby. 217 pp + adverts. 22 illustrations by Harrison Weir.
