Illustration in gilt to front board. pp 222, [2] blank, including b/w illustrations, illustrated endpapers. Size: 8.75 x 6.25 inches approx. (220mm x 157mm). Light wear and rubbing to dustwrapper, mainly to extremities; a short tear and creasing to top edge of rear panel; a little sunned/faded to spine; age-toning to flap folds and top edge; some blotchiness/tidemarks to spine though mostly only visible to verso. Covers clean and bright; spine ends a touch bruised, square corners to boards. A previous owner’s inscription in ink to half-title page; edges of page-block toned and spotted but pages generally very clean throughout. Overall, light wear but otherwise a nicely preserved copy – quite lovely.
