FIRST EDITION. First printing of the Macmillan One volume thin paper edition. 8vo (7.3 x 5 inches). Colour frontis and mono illustrations throughout, some full page. A couple of pages with a few small spots to the margin, but overall a lovely bright and clean copy, finely bound by Sangorski & Sutcliffe of London, in half red morocco. Spine with raised bands. Compartments ruled in blind and lettered in gilt. Red cloth on boards. Marbled endpapers. Top edge gilt. A Tiny amount of bubbling to the cloth on the front board but overall a fine and attractive copy of this scarce edition.
