The story of two typical battalions from world war two. Centred mostly around Coventry and Rugby. Very detailed and topics covered include weapons, signals, intelligence, women in the home guard, exercises, diary of war events etc. compiled by an editorial board consisting of officers, warrant officer and N.C.O.s of the 2nd and 7th battalion’s.
Dealer Notes
1st edition 1946.
Nice clean complete condition in publishers green cloth titled gilt. Slight suggestion of a crease to upper board otherwise VG condition.
Seems uncommon now.
Map endpapers give a useful view of the area covered .
