First Edition. Two Volumes rebound by Paul Tronson. Rebinding specification: "Strip restore leaves and maps, new end papers and extra fly leaves, resew on sunken cords, linings, wide boards, Oxford hollow back. Half bound in vegetable tanned horse chestnut calf with hand marbled sides. Gilt lines, centred pallets, blind panelled spine, hand lettered spine red leather labels, gilt line sides. Date spines London 1777. Bound in uniform 18th Century style.” Quarto. Vol. I pp. cxxxiv, 630, Vol. II pp. 624 and fold out map. Two volumes in Very Good condition indeed, in very fine bindings.
