Internally clean with bright coloured plates. Good. Provenance: Frances Partridge's copy, with her name to endpaper of first volume. Frances Catherine Partridge [née Marshall] (1900–2004), diarist, author, pacifist, member of the Bloomsbury set.
New Edition, revised by Edward Step. Anne Pratt [married name Pearless], (1806-1893), botanist, popular Victorian author of natural history books.
