Book Description

The Eagle Has Landed, Jack Higgins, Collins, 1975, First Edition, First Impression Adapted for film in 1976 and a selling more that fifty million copies as at 2010, this story is set during World War II and tells of Germany’s failed plot to kidnap Winston Churchill from their perspective. The book is in near fine condition. The binding is tight with a very slight lean, the boards clean and the silver lettering on the spine bright. The end papers and pages are free from marks, tears and inscriptions. The clipped dust jacket, protected in a clear, removable cover is in good condition with slight loss to the corners of the front cover, nibbling to the top edge of the front cover, loss to the top edge of the spine, loss and nibbling to the bottom edge of the spine, a small tear to the top edge of the back cover, a crease to the bottom edge of the back cover and a darkened back cover. Will be dispatched carefully wrapped in bubblewrap and a cardboard box.
