The Dry Savages

Book Description
T. S. Eliot's poem "The Dry Salvages," the third of his Four Quartets, is a contemplative meditation on the nature of time and humanity's place within it, using water as a central metaphor for life, death, and the vast forces of nature. It explores the idea that time is not linear but cyclical, and that true meaning comes from accepting the present moment and finding hope through revelation, despite the destructive and indifferent nature of the world around us.
