Book Description
A pair of unusual 1940s books, published by L R Davis of Leicester. Part of the 'Uncle Ben's Bunny Family' series of books (a 'Fay Day' book), these are very nicely illustrated by 'Uncle' Ben Kirby, with verses by Jane M Dawn. 'Jolly Holiday' has cleaner boards and is altogether a better book (apart from the fact that the text block has come away from the boards). 'Fairy Cottage' has more wear around board edges and the text block is working loose; also more signs of handling etc.
Having given condition warnings, this pair are highly unusual - and a bit of a treasure from the 1940s era!
