Very pretty edition in black cloth with Art Nouveau gilt decorations to both front and spine and a colour illustrated paste-down to the front. With a frontispiece and seven further colour plates (as called for) by Rose Le Quesne. Eight stories drawn from The Faerie Queen by Edmund Spenser. No date but appears Edwardian. From the Told to the Children series Pages are rough cut, and a little foxed. Corners are slightly bumped. Very clean except some browning to the endpapers, with bright gilt and beautiful, bright colour illustration to front.
