Dealer Notes
This is the most complete editon, as the title states -” In this Fourth Impression are added (by the Author now living) as well many Additions throughout the whole Work, as also several Sculptures, never before Printed”. The engravings in the text being most interesting and not usually found so abundantly in works of this kind. On page 383 is Herbert’s picture of a Dodo, drawn from life.
Dr. William’s Library was located at Red Cross St from 1730 - 1865 and has recently been incorporated into Manchester Univesity Libraries.
