Celebrating 50 years of book fairs

Book Description

A lovey copy of this sequel to The Lord of the Rushie River, which was not published until after Barker's death. The dust wrapper is not price clipped (6.95) and is bright and clean with closed tear along foredge, slightly faded to spine and with minimal creasing to head and tail of spine. The boards are clean and bright with small mark (sellotape?) to front and rear. Internally there is bookplate (blank) and the words Class 5 written neatly in ink (see image) the pages are clean and tight - overall a good copy of this lovely book. The author/illustrator is best known for her Flower Fairy books but this wonderful tale of Simon's brave adventure trying to see the world is a joy.
