author-signed dedication to the cover-artist on the pre-title page reads - "For Gee our most talented calligrapher & artist! from Frank, November, 1995"; b/w. frontis drawing of the author; a book of sermons, stories, meditations and so on, all of which were been written during the author's ministry in Cambridge and Bury-St-Edmunds. Frank Walker has ministered to Unitarian congregations in Halifax, Huddersfield, Bristol,. and since 1976 Cambridge and Bury-St-Edmunds. He has also enjoyed two exchange ministries in the U.S.A.: in 1981 at the First Unitarian Church of Berkeley, California, and in 1991 at the First Religious Society of Newburyport, Massachusetts, the historic parish church of that charming New England seaport. He is convenor of the Cambridge Local-Group of the Sea of Faith, a network for religious radicals inspired by Don Cupitt the former Dean of Emmanuel College, Cambridge.
