The musical notation and lyrics are from the fifteenth century "Welcome Yule". Handwritten conundrum and its solution illustrated in pencil to verso: the Jones, Smith and Robinson riddle created by Henry Ernest Dudeney of Lewes, West Sussex in 1930.
