A rarely seen and very wonderful version of the Punch & Judy story, published by Raphael Tuck in the 1890s period, entitled 'Mt Punch And His Tricks'. Very attractive full-colour illustrations throughout, including a central double-page spread of a Punch & Judy show. This copy is worn, with loss to the top of Punch's hat (worse on back cover) and to his shoes. The shoe loss affects more, as this goes throughout the book (see photos), meaning a small bit of text is lost on the second to last page. However, so rarely seen that this remains a gem!
