Poster providing instructions for halting the spread of mosquitoes and the avoidance of mosquito bites in an effort to prevent malaria. The instructions are accompanied by several illustrations. The American Zionist Medical Unit (the medical unit of the Hadassah Women's Organization) was founded in order to restore the health and welfare institutions of the Jewish community in Palestine destroyed during World War I. In 1921, the unit became a permanent health organization in Palestine - the Hadassah Medical Organization. The lower panel where it is written “Prepared by the AZMU” ppears to be attached separately. There are some folds and wear and filing holes and a couple of minor holes and repairs. [ref: 19211 ]
