Original soft cover; landscape 8vo. 446 pages with fold out map at rear. A rare document prepared for the abortive invasion of England in 1940, given the code name Sealion (German: Unternehmen Seelöwe). Contains numerous photographs, maps, sketches and descriptions of the south coast. Moving and disturbing at the same time. Very good, some pencil annotations in French, covers a little creased and spotted, internally clean. Housed in specially made cloth box.
