Book Description

The period of history during the Regency of Queen Marie de Medici from 1605 until the death of Louis XIII in 1643. Richer, the founding editor, said the intention was to gather together the important news from the four corners of the world. The first edition was published in 1611 and it appears there was a retrospective catch-up from 1605. The present volume covers the period 1610 - 1612, the much shorter text for 1610 suggesting catch-up again.
Dealer Notes
