London, printed for Chapman and Hall, 1844, pp624, half calf, marbled boards, endpapers, rubbing to boards and scuffs to spine, five raised bands, grease stain from endpapers to C8, foxing to plates, page browning, first edition, second state (£100 on signboard title page engraving), bound with the half-title, not bound from parts. Good.
