Spine with raised bands, each decorated with twisted rope design. Compartments ruled and fully decorated in gilt. Two brown morocco labels, ruled and lettered in gilt. Double gilt ruled borders with floral corner pieces on boards. Board edges with decorative gilt roll. Inner gilt dentelles. Marbled endpapers. All edges gilt. A little rubbing to the extremities and boards but overall a lovely copy of this highly attractive edition, illustrated by one of the greatest book artists of the day.
