This the scarce FIRST EDITION was bound with metal staples through each signature, a short lived practice as they inevitably rusted and the book fell apart, this copy has been sewn and reassembled. Quarto top edge gilt. 256pps Frontispiece and numerous engraved illustrations. Extensive bibliography and records of public buildings struck by lightning.
