Glassine paper dust jacket, friable and chipped but present. Cover edges bumped. Internally clean except a difficult to decipher gift inscription on verso of frontispiece.. Overall VERY GOOD condition. “English are said to go to battle with songs about roast beef in their mouths. When the Kentuckian encountered dangers of battle, or of any kind, when he is even on board a foundering ship, his last exclamation is: Hurrah for old Kentucky.”
