This is a scarce 1st edition, 1st issue copy of Rudyard Kipling's enduring classic book of 'Just So Stories'. The first issue of the book had a white pigment which rubbed and flaked off easily, meaning the publishers replaced it with more hard-wearing pigment for the second issue. This is a first issue copy, with the pigment partially rubbed to the front and gone from the spine. Slight loss to top of spine and foxing to end papers; otherwise a very clean and good copy.
