Gilt lettering to compartments two and three. Gilt decoration to other compartments, all within gilt borders to each compartment. 7.75ins x 5.25ins. Aem. Marbled endpapers. All 55 plates present, but one misplaced. Volume one: xxiv, 522pp plus 10pp plates. Volume two: xv, (i), 500pp plus 12pp plates. Volume three: xii, 427pp plus 9pp plates. Volume four: xvii, (i), 479pp plus 11pp plates. Volume five: xi, (i), 444pp plus 11pp plates. Volume six: vii, (i), 463pp plus 2pp plates. Each volume has an armorial bookplate of Charles William Packe to the front pastedown. Bookplates and blank endpapers following the marbled endpapers are foxed. Occasional light foxing to text. A VG, attractively bound set. Nb set weighs over 4kg could be expensive to post overseas.
