Book Description

ORME Edward (publisher) Historic, Military, and Naval Anecdotes of personal valour, bravery, and particular incidents which occurred to the armies of Great Britain and her Allies, in the last long-contested war, terminating with the Battle of Waterloo Edward Orme, London 1831 (circa) Folio. 98pp + 40 hand coloured aquatint plates (complete). Recent half red morocco with gilt lettering, marbled paper boards and printed label. Some light marginal soiling or scattered foxing but a good copy with fresh, bright colouring of the plates. This is the issue without the date at the foot of the title but paper watermarked 1831.
