Book Description

8vo, [viii],248. Translator's name from ESTC. Early sig. J Huddesford 1750 to title page, several articles from early newspapers pasted onto front flyleaf and inner pastedown on longevity (how to live to 126); upper margin of A2 and A3 repaired with loss, similar repair to final leaf (presumably printing flaws), contemporary or near contemporary mottled calf, somewhat worn, rear board detached, remains of old paper label to front board, blob mark to the lower margin of section I, without affecting text, otherwise a clean example, with no annotations. A curious early self-help work, which claims to know how to help a person live longer. ESTC T144791.
