hardback, first edition, 4to, publisher's blue cloth gilt, bevelled edges, front board stained, internally clean, 'reprinted from the Handsworth Herald' very scarce, 'limited issue' with als signed consisting of 24 lines on his embossed notepaper 'Heathwood Road/Handsworth' dated 27 March, 1919 one folded sheet, written by the author thanking an unnamed recipient for help in writing the book. Hackwood explains he has not made money from his books due to the number of copies he gives to those who help in their production.
