The Handbook was published six times from 1926 until this, the final edition. It offers chapters on the geography, geology, history, administration, and economy of the country; a chapter on ‘Big Game’ also offers advice to the prospective hunter, with illustrations of some typical game animals (seladang, elephant, rhino). The volume is also illustrated by two large maps.(one being a geological map).
